Live Forever-oasis

在95、96年，甚至一直到99年，怪异突兀却光芒万丈的绿洲合唱团 (Oasis) 几乎成了世纪末的传奇，尽管保罗麦卡尼在某个公开场合里被问到绿洲合唱团与披头合唱团 (The Beatles) 的相似性时，曾含蓄地说：“奇妙的是，他们现在正在模仿我们三十年前做过的事情。”但是绿洲合唱团的Gallagher兄弟可不全然如此认为，吉他手兼团里词曲创作者的Noel Gallagher 曾自信满满地昭告世人：“我们若不是世界上最棒的摇滚乐团，至少，我们也会跟披头们一样伟大，而他们和我们不一样的地方就是比我们早出世。”
这首《Live Forever》据说是oasis向John Lennon 致敬的歌曲。
